Based in Houston, Texas, Brew was raised in Missouri City just outside of Houston and started rapping at the age of 13. He began Dark Sunz in 1995 with C.O.S. and was a part of the hip hop group Lower Life Form from 2005 – 2014. As a solo artist Brew continued to put out music on his own over the years, releasing the Brew+Jake EP and The Live Brew EP and collaborating with other local talent such as the Niyat, V-Zilla, D. Randle of the Legendary KO and, most recently, D. Rose to produce the Guud Money EP. Brew’s music is influenced by UGK, A Tribe Called Quest, Scarface and Nas.
